岗位职责：

Product engineers have full responsibility and accountability for all activities related to the assigned accounts/projects during the entire product life cycle – Design to EOL

a)    Product Cost

         i)   Cannot be lower than our estimated cost

        ii)    Cannot be higher than competitor’s cost

        iii)   Design Stage

        iv)Work & negotiate with suppliers

        v)   Work with design and/or process engineers

        vi)Monitor cost variances and implement corrective actions

b)    Product Quality

        i)    Zero Defect on FAI/Qualification Samples

       ii)      Preventive and corrective actions (8D)

      iii)       FMEA/Control Plan

      iv)      Total Customer Satisfaction

     vi) Complaint Management (8D)

c)    Product Delivery

      i) On the right side, product delivery items noted with “*” are controlled by the Operations Planning Team with support from the PRDE as needed.

     ii)  Sample/Prototype

     iii) Pilot run/Pre-production/PPAP

    iv)   *Mass production & Capacity Planning

    v)    *Understand Schedules – AT ALL TIMES

    vi)   *Review Customer Forecasts

    vii)  *Review Customer Orders

    viii) *Review Aavid’s Supply Plan

    ix)   *Identify Gaps in Supply Plan vs. Customer Forecasts/Orders

    x)    *Communicate at least daily and well with customer AT ALL TIMES

              1）Plan, manage and execute project plans, ensure that process and product established can smoothly transfer to mass production in terms of cost, quality, productivity and safety.

              2）Meet the customer project qualification and delivery schedule requirements

              3） Provide leadership to resolve critical product development issues, develop skills and improve department performance, continuously improve manufacturing methods

                4）Documentation for all NBOs (must have Certified PRDE review and approved)
